Our 2001 Aero Wagon had this code.....I bought a sensor, but before I put it in, I fixed J16. Never had to put the sensor in.
thanks again SWEDECAR for the tip of j16. I did this fix on our 2003 a year ago......I have almost become and expert on this fix.
As SWEDECAR says the voltage is very low.....less than 1 volt so the junction has to be pretty good.
I find fixing the j16 is easier than changing the O2 sensor.....well it is once you have done it once.
