Argh.....I thought that the link would take you to the specific page I was looking at under A/T Fluid service. Sorry.
In the diagram, it showed which line they disconnected and connected to an extension of some kind to the drain in stages. They referred to it as an output (or something similar), so I was assuming it was out to the cooler, and maybe the line you were looking for.
The gist of the process was to use the drain plug to drain the box, then reseal it. Add 4 liters of fluid via dipstick. Then disconnect the "output" line, attach an extension start the car, letting the transmission pump out fluid, shut off, top up, repeat. They did it for a couple of cycles, taking out less each time, then finished with a top off.
