ABS Warning lights and other anomaly's...(long)...'08 AeroSC auto Posted by saabniner [Email] (#617) [Profile/Gallery] (more from saabniner) on Tue, 2 Jul 2019 07:46:08 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Okay, this started with intermittent starting issue (both overnight cold and various times of day) without the usual solenoid clicking, no warning lights/codes, after several tries it would start up normal, had NAPA check year-old battery, still good shape, cables cleaned no corrosion. Car has 150K miles, starter original, decided to get another. Sourced REMAN from trusted site sponsor, after install, started right up, ran great for a full day no issues. Next day on start up battery seems low on charge, but ran okay for a few miles, then got ABS/TCS/Brake warning lights (first time), went into limp-home mode but made it home. My BlueDriver OBD unit showed "low system voltage", but a meter showed battery 12VDC. Now have a no-start condition. Could the replacement starter/solenoid be the culprit? The old one looked typical for 150K but may still work, will check it out electrically before swapping it out with the new one. Thanks in advance.
