Hello,
Some more answers to your questions in addition to the other post .
As far as the seal installer it is nice to have but if you are good at installing radial seals you will be fine.
Can't remember off the top of my head which cam lock is which. But if you start at the firewall Saab numbers the cams from 1 to 4 going towards the radiator. I believe the factory tools had a 1 and 2 on the firewall lock and 3 and 4 on the radiator tool. The timing lines on the cam gears have the numbers next to them because cam gear 1 and 2 are interchangeable and 3 and 4 are interchangeable. TDC is locked in with the tool that locks that crank for timing belt installation.
You just have to be close to 60 degrees. But it is 2/3 of 90.
And yes you can replace just a few cam followers/buckets.
Good Luck, Bernie
