There are also some 5 door Viggens around. Even so I picked
up the 9-5 Aero because of the extra space in the car.
I'm 6'3 and I can make use of the extra space.
IF you like the Viggen seats that much, you can upgrade
the 9-5 Aero seats to Viggen standard. Hirsch Performance
does that. They replace the foam pads and ship some leather
with it. Any color available! Too bad that you can't order
an Aero with cloth interior in the states cause it's worthwhile
to get the Hirsch leather interior with the sport seats.
(This is the one thing I wana do sometimes this year, cause
Hirsch has a nice Napa/Nukuk leather interior that is perfect
for cold and hot days)
As for performance, the stock 9-5 Aero 5spd is quite fast
and Nordic, Abbott and Hirsch all have some nice upgrades.
After driving my 9-5 Aero 5spd for a year now, somehow I don't
think that I need more power then what I have... so I will keep
mine stock. As to the Wagon... it's a very nice car 5spd or Auto.
Main question will be what deal you will get for your Viggen when
you trade it in. I suppose that the dealer that sold it to you
should be able to give you a fair trade in... but then again not
all dealers are nice...
Yes the 9-5 Aero is a bit slower then a Viggen... but it's also
quite a bit more refined and practical.
Regards,
Coolknight
