Where's this guy getting his info? On one hand he acknowleges the Aero's 250 hp, on the other he criticizes the Linear for having 180 hp. I doubt he drove both.

What's the rationale for the Aero Manual Trans needing 152 ft to come to a complete stop from 60 mph when the Auto does it in 139 ft. Engine braking shouldn't play a role.

Leather seats too slippery? Quite the opposite. I've particularly notice the lack of slipperiness in my leather seats as compared to other cars and trucks I've driven and/or owned.

He also declares the 9-5's stiff frame makes it safer in a crash.

Hogwash.

Body stiffness relates to handling. It's a hidden benefit most people perceive in the way the car feels and handles over a variety of situations. It relates to the dynamic charactoristics of the structure. When a sturcture is subjected to vibrations, they will react by bending, torsioning, and bowing at when excited at the "natural" frequency of the structure, and multiples thereof. A car with a frequency of 15 hz will react when excited by frequencies of 15, 30, 45, etc... If all those frequencies are acting upon it, the structure will react in multiple ways. To the driver, the car feels kind of noodelly. A car with a higher hertz rating will therefore have fewer frequencies acting on it of a given set of inputs and will feel more solid.

It has nothing to do with crash-worthiness. In fact, areas of the structure are designed to be weaker to facilitate a more controlled crumple, or absorption of shock in the event of an accident.

Insurance rates? My insurance rates are great for this car.

Turbo not providing more brute power??? I don't think he actually drove the car.

Saab Product Managers must grind their teeth when they see these kind's of charlatons passing judgement on their cars.
