Not only are they an effective way to illuminate the front of your car in the proper circumstances (ie. twilight) but they also look much cooler than those dopey parking lights on the front of corvettes.
I also dislike Saabs implentation of DRL's. When mine were active the tail lights also came on. During daylight I feel this is a mistake. Only brakelights should illuminate during the day. IMHO.
I also prefer being able to turn off the headlights and run with just fog lights.
Maybe this and the amount of brake dust on my front wheels are my only real critisism of the 9-5, you got a great car, good luck. As soon as you figure out how, why not post a picture?
