To all contributors,
Thank you for your input. I will have my wife read through this thread. Maybe she will change your requirements i.e., time to buy so we can wait on the SAAB SUV in 2005 or remove the AWD option from the mix.
So what did I learn;
1) Audi A6 with Dunlop Winter Sport M3s is a good thing.
2) Audi S6 is lower to the ground so may create a snow plow effect.
3) Audi Reliability continues to be an issue: http://www.audiworld.com/
4) Suburu Legacy or the like should be looked at. I have an issue here as my sister is on her 3rd in 5 years. Too fast a turnover for me.
5) Volvo V70R: Good suggestion not considered so I will test drive it. Thank you Ben.
6) Volvo XC90: Cross wind can be an issue so here I will test drive but this was an issue in the back of my mind.
7) Cadillac SRX: I did not know they had a vehicle to consider. Thank you Jeff.
