Maybe this will help. The panels are made of urethane this is a flexible plastic unlike fiberglass which isn't. There is the degree of difference in repair you cannot use fiberglass on urethane it is not flexible and will crack depending on where you use it. However you can use it in combination with a flexible bondo that is made to repair plastics. You use basically the same techniques as you would regular bondo. But it takes longer to cure and dry. Don't use a heat gun it won't do you any good in mending cracks. The best you can do with a heat gun is to take out minor dents that some idiot did to the panel when jacking up your car to change the tire. I forgot the name of the product but if you can't find it drop me a line I can get the information for you.
