I have an airflow kit on a lowered 900 and the inevitable happened ..the front spoiler was split at each corner below the fog light aperture
the material it is made out of seems to be some sort of rubbery plastic is the best way to describe it.
I repaired it fairly successfully with filler and painting over it
this did not last too long as the filler does not strengthen the damaged area and it is easily broken again.
My son managed to put a large crack in it running from the bottom through the fog light aperture and half way to the top bumper
This has been very successfully repaired with glass fibre resin and glass fibre mat( two layers )with liberal application of resin on the inside
the outside was treated as before with filler and overpainted.
You will need to use plastic primer if you remove all the paint layers when sanding
