dont mess with the ajustment of the shifter you will regret it. put it into gear & start it look at the iner drivers where the drive axles conect to the trans. if they rotate with the enjine running in gear but either the drive axle or the wheel dosent, theres your problem. you cant see the cluch disk through the pressure plate. look for shreaded friction matieral hanging out between the flywheel & the PP. the other thing you could do is to remove the clip & the round metal cover for the input shaft. start the enjine in gear if the part inside that cover does not rotate with the enjine the clutch is the problem.
