I had a similar and found the control pressure was the correct 50psi but when simulating turbo pressure the control pressure dropped to 34psi and slowly went back to 50psi which would cause the engine to run too rich at idle and stall or do as your car,i found there was a blockage in the fuel injection metering unit that that restricted the flow ,got a bike pump put a connector on the end connected it to the control pressure end blew out the crap also had the fuel intake disconnected and the car runs perfect,so if your's is a 8v k-jetronic injection system this might fix it
