Yes, the 6 bad wires I'm describing run thru the area at the rear end of the bundle at the fuel rail. Ed, the starter wire is one of the six I'm describing. From your description it sounds like you only had problems with the same six wires? I'm trying to decide if I should replace all wires, even though they look good now?? Do you or anyone else have any of the other wires rotted? My wires going to the fuel injectors (from ecu) are good. Only two wires that are in the big bundle going to the ecu are bad; one big wire to the fuel pump relay and one small one going to ecu connector. I already removed the hard black plastic covers and will use the plastic stuff you use for power amps, etc. Cliff, it is missing the small spg panel behind passenger side front wheel. The more I think about it..maybe I'll buy a big spool of teflon wire and replace all the darn wires! Ed, as for the pins..even if you can buy them you'll need the crimp tool. Amp crimp tools cost a fortune, like $250+ I'll look into it just to verify for myself though. OH, selling the sacrificial '85 900T 4 dr will finance much of my spg restoration!
