Absolutely! The Turbos just get to speed faster. My wifes 87 900s (318K miles) does 90 with ease, just takes a little longer to get to that speed than either of our 92 9000CD turbo's. We both had 85 924's before (that's 900 four door 5 speed turbo..), the 87 900S works well.
