way. Replacing a motor mount will have NO affect whatsoever on the O2 sensor, IF they didn't pinch a wire under the right motor mount bracket.
On a non turbo, the O2 sensor wiring runs close to that motor mount.
To their defense I can say that a car WILL create another problem as soon as it leaves the shop. This is just the basics of Murphy's law.
On the other hand, are they a Saab specialty shop? Having a specialist mechanic tell the customer, sorry it's nothing more we can do is just wrong.
Lesser good mechanics rely way too much on the diagnostic fault codes. especially the O2 sensor ones. It is a wide variety of problems that can create those fault codes. Air mass meter, vacuum leaks, bad ground wires, O2 sensor, dirty injectors, sometimes even bad gasoline.
Some of your symptoms sounds like a headgasket/coolant leaking into the combustion chamber, but it is impossible to completly rule out anything without testing the car.
I hope you find a better shop for your Saab
