Hi folks,

I just found an '87 SPG (I think it's an SPG) in GREAT condition here in my hometown, 136K miles, only $795. I would love to get it (I've never had a Turbo before, much less an SPG).

I've yet to test drive it yet (I will later today, I hope), but the SPG is owned by a little, independent car dealer. I saw it over the weekend and called him about it today. He said it runs and handles great, but that the clutch lets out at the floor and has a drip from the clutch area. Also said he is bringing in someone to replace the clutch slave today (sounds like an accurate diagnosis to me).

Any items I should look for besides rust, engine drips, tranny misbehaving (popping out of gear), etc.? How do I make sure the slave is replaced properly (or will I be able tell see/hear if they didn't do the job correctly?).
