OK. So first I decieded to look at the passenger side axle. The boot had a small rip, there was basically no greese and one of the tripod bearings was seized and the others were not so hot. It looked like a needle bearing was missing from one of them aswell. I was going to just change the inner driver anyway but I didnt realize you had to drain tranny and that there might compatability issues with pre 88 drivers and such (all my cars have different year trannys and parts and I am constantly haunted by it). So I put on a better tripod and regreased the sucker. Drove it and it is definatly better. Not as violent and pounding. Definatly still a shaking and vibration but back to the way it always was I think. I wasnt able to test it out at very high speeds but I think I fixed it. So my question is is that even possible? I didnt think the tripods could cause so much vibration like that. I mean it was really bad. So I guess Im happy and I probably need to swap out drivers sometime but atleast I can drive it. I was very skeptical of driving it the way it was. Thanks guys.
