Don't try to make a tough bolt come with a 12-point, you'll likely chew up the nut or bolt and be in a world of hurtin' if you do. Do all of the above: heat it up with a propane torch, put the six point socket on, use a a cheater bar, put some English on it, and beat rapidly on or near the head of the socket wrench (better if its NOT a ratchet). It should let loose.
