Bracket bolts must come off, use 6 point socket as suggested, a breaker bar instead of a ratchet (unless you want to buy a new ratchet and a breaker bar)and a two foot length of pipe for leverage (1 inch black gas pipe from Depot usually works), use red loctite on the reinstall of the bolts. Make sure you use Brakeclean to remove the protective grease off of the rotor surfaces.
If you do the rears, the rear brackets do not have to come off, remove the caliper and screw on the rotor and there is enough clearance to finess the rotor off with the bracket in place.
You may also want to paint the sides pf the hub with heat resistant paint to prevent rust for a while, Always wanted to do that but never had enough time.
