Is this a LOT of hum, or just a now noticable hum. I think a bit of humm is ok, it might be no problem, but a lot,,,,
You could always get a spare on the Bay and carry it, and a few tools with you. That would cover it I think. Try and get the entire assembly if you can find it on the Bay or in a junkyard. The only issue I can think of is that the orings on the fuel lines probably need replacement when disconnected so get a few of those.
Also, maybe bring the Saab Angels info with you, and get the AAA gold plan. That way you would have a place to tow to and AAA will tow no problem up to 100 miles.
I'm nt tryig to sell the AAA plan, just that one big tow would pay for the plan. I average 2 tows a year.
