I have a 1993 900S with 140k on the clock. Yesterday I was driving down the highwayon a dry day and the car shut off. I was able to coast into a parking area and begin to diagnose the problem. I cracked the fuel rail nut and gave the engine a spin. I had pleanty of fuel pressure. I checked for spark and theee was none. I checked all of my EZK connections and everything was tight. It still would not start... I called the tow truck and paid 125 dollars for the trip home. After the car was dropped off in my driveway it started right up..............To the best of my knowledge all of the ignition parts are 17 years old except for the Dist, rotar and plugs. Does anyone haave any idea how I can Diagnose and fix this problem before I get stuck again away from home.
Can the crank sensor or ignition amp stop... and then start again,
Help................. Thanks Jim
