OEM alternator is Bosch & rebuilt has the pulley. Lower bolt is a bugger to get out. Heater hoses get in the way too. Check condition of all the belts. If Alt belt is bad then A/C & P/S belts have to be taken off. Check those to make certain they are not needing replacement when the belts are out. Another issue is the alternator mounting; the lower bolt runs through bushings which go bad & allow things to move about more than they should. Project does take time but not difficult. Big issue is what is needed once you get into the project. Remember Alt. belts are a matched set & they run the H2O pump too. Are you certain it is the alternator & not just the voltage regulator?
