yea, the ABS setups are going fast. I just sold the 2 working ones I had extracted from 900s. Still got a dead one...(can't bring myself to throw away such a massive piece of work!)
That's 1 reason why I swapped. I don't think those will be anywhere after a while.
As for a booster, that should be easy to find. At the very least you could get a reman booster and brake master on feabay. I stripped an 89 900 at the boneyard. I also have 2 more cars(87 and 84) that could be donors, I could strip for the lines and the junction block. Maybe the older booster/mstr up to 87 will work too, probably. So really any 900 w/ a booster, and get the master too! You can always rebuild an older set up, it's really easy.
Other than the booster/master, you could just make your own front brake line under the hood, but you'll need a NON ABS junction block to go to the rear brakes. Again, i see em on feabay. Somebody else may be wise to this swap
...my advice SAABers: Scoop up some of these parts if you want you 90's 900 to be running for many years to come!
