like saab junkie said... that's a lot for a non-turbo 8V unless it the body is mint (pull up the carpets in the front seat + look for rust, look in under the trunk, all around the fenders - even the tiniest bubble means there's more under the trim...
the turn signal is a breeze to R+R (if 1985 is the same as later years anyway)... cost is a couple screws + a bit of wear on a dremel bit... new replacement switch is a bit over $100 iirc...
radiator is about $150 + not hard diy... change to 82 degree t-stat + fan switch + mercedes coolant while you're in there...
make sure the cap + rotor he put in were bosch... (rust orange/red cap)... cheap + easy to swap anyway (actually most of the stuff on his list are not big items, though tires + can exhaust add up)...
the bit about turbos being unreliable is nonsense, at least on the later cars... a turbo is a desirable thing... but a NA is still fun (I have 2), handle great, just not as fast...
