Roger, I suspect that Justin is picturing the oil feed line on his 1951 Crosley Hot Shot. The turbo oil feed on your '87 does have a large banjo fitting where it connects to the block (oil galley). I don't think that there is a single typical location for a defect in that pipe, you'll just have to examine it from end to end. Don't overlook the possibility of a cracked or loose banjo bolt or bad seals there.
