Here's my best guess: You have two or more leaking injectors. When you shut the engine off they continue to leak and hose down the cylinder and spark plug for about five minutes or until the pressure in the rail is all bled off and then the raw fuel in the hot cylinders quickly vaporizes. Until that happens the wet cylinders won't fire. That's why it starts fine after sitting all night or sitting for five minutes but won't re-start immediately. Run the car, shut it off and quickly remove the spark plugs and see if any are wet or if there is raw fuel in any of the cylinders. It would probably manage to start if only one injector was leaking.
