She'll get fixed - that's the plan anyway. In my shed, I already have a replacement front bumper assembly, a radiator support structure. a replacement drivers headlight and bucket. The inner fender is in pretty good shape and after bypassing the oil cooler I just took her for a spin around the neighborhood - seems like the frame is OK and my wheel alignment is still spot on. I hope to snag a replacement hood and turn signal from a guy I know in Maryland (for about $150) tomorrow and go about beating the out fender back in place enough to be able to put it back together and drive it legally (will likely be a serious eyesore at that point).
Then I'll take her over to my body shop and get the final verdict. I may be in the market for a new Saab 900 once I see what the fender replacement and hood painting runs. They're good guys and will work with me so I remain optimistic. They cut and welder in a major chunk of a fender (rust issue) and painted the fender and hood for about $1100 a few years ago, so I'd be willing to roll with something like that.
