So I successfully finished patching the interior brake lines with unions and flare nuts. 1988 SPG. Seems to be a tight seal. I also had replaced the floor with galvanized sheet metal (about 1'x2'). I put the wiring back into place and the gas lines and scrambled brake lines into place and then put the drivers seat back in today. After the seat replace, suddenly the turn signals, wipers and squirter, blower motor, interior lights, and rear defrost refuse to work. Every other electrical system works (headlights, tailights, interior light, e-flasher still work. So of course I went through the fuses and all are in good shape.? Question, is there a master fuse or block that I should check? Or the other option I can think of is that in putting the seat in place, I severed some wires from the main bundle running next to and below the e-brake. Please tell me it's a main fusible link or something. It was getting dark (and cold and snowing outside) so I haven't removed the seat yet to check the wiring. Thanks for any thoughts.
PS, the blower motor was squealing and blew one fuse prior to me dumping WD-40 into the passengers vent. Then the motor ran very smooth and no blowing of fuse. And yes, after seat replace, the fuse for blower motor was still good; just the blower motor was inoperable.
