Negative, you can not pull codes in your car. American market C900 Saabs have either Bosch CIS injection, Bosch LH 2.2 injection, Bosch LH 2.4. or Bosch LH 2.4.2 injection. Of those three systems ONLY Bosch LH 2.4 and LH 2.4.2 injection have any sort of self diagnostic ability and it is pre-OBD standard. Which system your car has depends on which model (base, "S" or turbo) and what year the car was made. Your 1987 900 turbo will have Bosch LH 2.2 fuel injection so it does not have self diagnostic ability.
If you are running anything except the proper NGK spark plugs in your C900 along with Bougicord wires and Bosch cap and rotor your troubleshooting process will go nowhere. Change over to those parts and don't be surprised if the car starts running just fine, we've seen that so many times.
