So, let's say it's not the gas since it runs for 8 minutes. After you start it, runs for 8 minutes and shuts off, do you still have 12v on one side of the coil?
If so, when you try and re-start it, do you have a good spark on the plugs? And I should have asked, when it cuts out (after 8 minutes or so), does it die all of a sudden or more like a sputter and then stop?
Just a few ideas. I can look in my Saab bible tonight after I get home, it has some pretty good troubleshooting steps.
Of course, if you've figured everything to a happy conclusion, then never mind.
