Well what I'm trying to do is get rid of the distributor and make the car's ignition system drive more like my 9000. And that is pretty easy to do by doing the T5 conversion. I already have a fast 1986 SPG pushing around 400 horsepower. It has a split second computer that has been put in it by Brad in Kansas City before he passed away. It has methanol injection large injectors 3 in exhaust blah blah blah blah blah. That car is insane. It's a lot of fun I do have to be careful I really have to get into it easy in third and then I'm able to wide open 4th and 5th. I've had the car about 6 years I've broken four Transmissions thank goodness I didn't break the cases and I was able to rebuild them every time. I now have an 8.5 primary gear that I will be putting in there from the gentleman over in Sweden. So yeah I certainly I'm not building anything fast by doing the T5, my wife really likes how the 9000 accelerates in first and second and we want to make the 900 do the same thing and I'm pretty sure it will act very similar to the 9000 if I T5 it for her. I'm also going to put a 8.5 primary gear in that car it will make all of the gears taller and you'll be able to use first and second gear a lot better. Were you able to rebuild your car?
