Good shine, as good as Meguiar's on new car.

The trouble with both NuFinish and Meguiar's is that they attract/adsorb grime. On my white car every Spring the car ended up looking offwhite or slightly gray...I ended up polishing off either the NuFinish or Meguiar's with a cleaner wax or when I finally wised up with Malms polish. The Malms polish is a true slightly abrasive polish (turned a tomatoe red 84 900S into red again...lots of red on the buffing wheel!) that takes off crud although it takes a lot of elbow grease...it's much finer than rubbing compound. Malms carnauba is a liquid sealer that goes on the entire car (about a capful they say, but I find it takes about 10 capfuls) and then is buffed out either by hand or machine. No swirls and easily buffs by hand with terry towels.
A friend of mine with an 84 limited edition Lotus Esprit Turbo got me into the Malms polish...superior to Zymol (although I like the Zymol smell...) and from his point of view improved the car's appearance at several shows on the East Coast.
