This clunking sound is either your ball joints or drive axles making noise. To check bad drive axles turn wheel to one side then the other all the way in parking lot if clicking sound is heard you will need to replace. Ball joint must check on rack then compress with a jack underneith or channel locks. Ball joints are common to fail at 135K as are axles no way to relube either also check axles for tears in ruber seals this will considerably shorten lifespan. price to fix axles $130-160 ball joints all $250-300 ps also consider wheel bearings if you intend on keeping the car for long rip out whole front end as its time has come.
