I agree that the head unit should be upgraded, you'll likely need one or more amps to power the system, and the rear speakers in the conv. are
6 1/2". I suggest you consider a set of 5 1/2"s mounted in the doors. Can easily be installed by a shop or reasonable DIY. Also a subwoofer is a worthwhile addition. Mounting is tricky due to limited space. Better 4" in dash are poor second to 5 1/2" in the doors. Tricky part is the trim panel but a reasonably talented installer can fabricate any look you want. My "other" car has a Nakamichi in-dash 6-disc CD and I've had lots of problems (MB 75 is the model I think). Be very selective in equipment as most of the mid-priced stuff is junk. Hi-Fi upgrade does make a world of difference!
