Short of overkill the easiest solution would be to hook the pump to the fan relay for now. bad choice with ac tho ( or maybe not if pump is sturdy). however..except in the case where you are needing max boost without notice...( i.e street racing) the scenarios where that is neccessary are few. few enough that a manual override switch is your easiest way. barring that you can find a DIN rail mount a relay of various flavors that would either pulse on a timer or use radio shack et al kit for a blinker and have it drive the coil side of a relay. I have a din rail on fender wall that i mount my stereo power disconnects that is driven off my "Antenna signal". ( soft off was not working to my satisfaction!!) pretty easy to do..i can get the relay mfg for you if you wish but for a pulsed type i'd start with Entrelec.
