Yup..Honda MTF used it for a few years so far..both in Juniors 87 9kt.(especially important now that I rebuilt the Pesky Box) And in the 84 9oo and in younger Son's Civic si.. shifting in that car is 'only' limited by the speed at which one can yank the Shift stick.. impressive to say the least.
MTF is NOT a synthetic.. it was originally Moto Trans Lube (still is too) Works Fine.. No Noise, smooth shifts.. just buy it and forget it, it's actually not too pricey at $4 a quart.
Synths are 'Bad News' in Honda Transaxles.. they Kill the poor things.
Redline.. for example, has been Documented as Dissolving the plastic Ball Cages in the NTN brand Ball bearings Honda uses.. Under Track conditions.. but some can push their cars pretty hard onna Street :-)
Interestingly My Honda Mechs claim that the Honda Coolant is absolutely excellent stuff as well.. but it's kinda pricey to experiment with.
