Allow me to vent on you a bit. I love saab 9000. I know would not be able to afford a 9000 if they were not so troublesome, so I know my b*tching here really does not make sense. Whit that said, why does Saab not fix common problems with their cars??? They will carry the same defect along for a decade without addressing it.

-Door handles that have a tab that is too thin and bends. How easy is it to fix that? Yet they do not fix if foe 12 friggin' years.

-The little lights on the doors always catch and brake off. Again a too small tab of plastic for the one small screw. Easy fix, yet they do not.

-The heater fan runs all the time and runs out of brushes at about 100k. Add more brushes or raise the quality of the brushes or make the d*mn heater motor more easily replaced.

-Heated seats. I have owned 3 9000 all of different years. All have atleast one heated seat not work.

-Electrical gremlins all through the interior/dash on every 9000 I have owned. God help the folks that have to fly Saab's airplanes if the defects are the same.

That is why we do not have to pay Mercedes prices. Saab shaould have Honda reliabilty years ago right? I have a Toyota with 129K on it and NOTHING has been changed except oil, tires, brakes... All of the electrics have always worked.

Again, I was happy to have gooten a beautiful 1995 CSE for $3000 with 80K.
It is Saab's inability to look backwards that affords me to have such a car for $3000
Thank you Saab engineers! Too bad for Saab stock holders.
