That's what prompted my question, actually. I was trying to find out about the H-pipe that the old one requires; can't picture what it looks like, and there doesn't seem to be any pictures of it available anywhere.
Certainly it wouldn't make sense to have an actual "H" in the flow path, or it would mix the inlet and outlet flow, so I guess the H refers to the way it looks rather than an actual H, such as a crossover pipe in an exhaust system.
From what Anders said, it seems to serve as a mounting point to the housing. Still can't picture why it can't be adapted in some way, though. Any pictures of the setup?
