If it doesn't have a turbo gauge it's 170HP Posted by AdamB [Email] (#3) [Profile/Gallery] (more from AdamB) on Fri, 27 Apr 2007 02:42:39 In Reply to: What is the bhp of my car, Kevin, Thu, 26 Apr 2007 08:28:56 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
not 175hp. The anniversary edition was sold in Europe with 3 different engines:
2.0t (low pressure turbo): 150HP
2.3t (low pressure turbo): 170HP
2.3T (full pressure turbo): 200HP (same engine as Aero with automatic transmission)
They all had the same turbocharger, a Garrett T25, and the two 2.3 engines were exactly the same except for different software and a solenoid boost controller (BPC).
The manual Aero had a 2.3T with 225HP. Also exactly the same engine internals, heads and block as the other 2.3s, just with a bigger turbocharger and different software.
As a sidenote, Italy had a special kind of Aero. It had the 2.0t tuned to 185HP. That was because of tax regulations regarding the engine size.
