TCS switch option.

So I've been exploring the TCS disable option that can be installed in 1993 and 1994 manual 9000s without additional changes. the 1992 needs an abs ecu upgrade to a 1993 version.
The write up states that the TCS can only be disabled at speeds under 37mph, and that shuting the car off will reset the TCS to on, requiring that the switch be pushed again, meaning you have to remember to do it!
So my question is does anyone know if the switch to energize this is a momentary contact switch? ie you push it and it makes a contact to cause the circuit to latch, but the switch goes open afterwards? If this is so, it would appear that a modification could be made, with a switch that stays closed or open AND it drives a circuit that does a momentary close at the original point in the circuit. A simple circuit that latches upon power up of the car with a momentary latch effected where the manual TCS off switch does now. It may require a short time delay to effect this correctly. The replacement switch would set this circuit to turn the TCS off, or not, upon power up of the car.
This would seem to create a "permanent" off, or on, as long as the switch was in the desired setting, thereby removing the issues with the TCS on the manual transmission cars.
If anyone *has* the option installed I'd appreciate hearing from them as to how functional it is.
thanks!
