I tend to watch threads about TCS because in the past I had 2 different
9Ks with it and it seems good to know about...so when I saw someone
post that they'd successfully removed their TCS I asked for more info,
but they did not provide any - and in the classifieds there was a car
that was listed as having the TCS removed as well.
Given the expenses associated with it, and that it was worst in some
cars and years I think removing (or at least neutering it) is the best
option.
I looked into the $100 switch kit and was dismayed at it's limitations.
Personally - I want ugliness like TCS to go away COMPLETELY, not just
for a few minutes at a time at certain speeds....
Here in the hilly country it is positively a nuisance and can be quite
dangerous in winter when you need all you can get to make it up a very
slippery hill !
One thing which concerned me alot with my '93 was that I found some of
the electronics ONLY fit that one model/year and were very pricey.
