I'd recommend Rhino Ramps - they are very high quality, not too pricey, and work great on lower cars like the 9k.
I'm sure some will disagree, but I think sucking out the oil is fine. I believe this has been the factory procedure on some cars (was it a Mercedes or Porsche perhaps?) in the past. I've done it myself on my old rear wheel drive'82 Mazda 626 that I only needed for a few month in Australia that had a rounded plug and had no problem pulling out the specified about of oil using a cheap hand syphon pump. I'd make sure the car had just been driven and the oil is hot to ensure as much particle matter is sucked up as possible, though most of it should be in the filter. Speaking of which, you'll want to be changing that as well, which means the car still needs to be up on ramps, though I guess changing the filter ever other oil change could be okay. I'd still get the plug fixed - there are lots of techniques out there that should work, or even bring a new one to a quick lube place and let one of the goons there go at the stuck one - money money says they'll get it free.
