I had some what a similar problem to my 93 CSE. I drove it for 100's of miles and suddenly died. Luckily, I pull it off just in time onto the rest area of to the highway. It costs me about $200 for towing home. The next or so I found out it was a fuel tank leaks and a fuel pump. Here's how I remember this had happened. The day b4 I went for a long trip, I noticed the smell of gasoline in my garage, but there was no sign of any leakage nor on my garage floor so off I went for a long trip, but couldn't return home.
So, my question is.. do you smell of gasoline in your car or behind your trunk when you open it, or under neath your car? Can you hear a fuel pump running when you turn on the ignition switch (don't start the car)? If are experiencing the same symthom, then it possibly a fuel pump or tank?
