The problem is now gone (except for the rear left door lock), also somewhat mysteriously. I had replaced the central lock module fuse by borrowing it from the radio / clock / courtesy light fuse slot, since I didn't have a spare 15A fuse and that seemed non-critical. Well, after putting a fuse back in for the radio, now the alarm remote works again. Does this make sense to anyone? Anyone? Another weird thing is that when the radio fuse was out, the door courtesy lights did still work, just very very dim. And if I switched on the overhead courtesy light, it would not work but it WOULD make the alarm ecu go crazy with clicking sounds. I don't understand why the alarm should depend on the radio fuse.
