I am going today or tomorrow to visit a junkyard that as of last week had a 93 9000 with intact front turn signal lenses etc., and rest of car all there as well.
If in fact your mechanics can declare the problem and the junkyard car has what they say they need I'll pull the parts and negotiate a cheap price for them, and have the yard and your mechanic, or yard and you, get together on shipping them up, or maybe I could do it.
It's odd that you say the warning lights work perfectly. I believe they use the same bulbs and same filament even (front is a two-filament bulb) as the turn signals. Try putting flashers on and see if front ones actually flash.
By the way, I remember giving you advice on fixing SRS warning light that wouldn't go off. Did you ever solve that?
