Thank you so much for replying, and it is me, way up in the frozen north!

The thing about this problem is that it is not a new one. They, (the garage here) keep doing whatever it is they do, whenever the turn signals go out, and recently it has been virtually immediately I drive the car out of the garage after they have fixed the signals...

However, I don't know if they have ever replaced both front bulbs. Could it really be that?? Should I suggest to them that they try that (or I try that, though I have never done anything inside the hood)? I don't even know where this part is located that they said I need. I think they look at me with resignation every time I come in with my old SAAB now :). We have spent quite a few dollars there over the years that I have had the car.

The warning lights work perfectly, by the way.

The garage also quoted me a horrific price to get the assembly from the SAAB dealer (which required paying for the part - which they said at SAAB they were not sure they could get - but paying anyway).

Very much appreciate all the advice you can give me.
