Three things, When replacing the bracket are the cap screws torqued? Very good idea for bolts threaded into aluminum.
How smoothly is the belt running? If the tensioner pulley is bouncing around, that will cause a lot of stress cycles that shorten the brackets life. Its best to find why the belt is not running smoothly, whether it’s the belt, idlers, or other rough running parts.
A lot of bouncing around can wear and edge in the tensioner bore that causes shocks in the tensioner as the piston hits the edge and/or slops around in the bore (heard as knocking or tapping). Also when the A/C clutch engages, worn tensioner can momentarily hang up causing the belt to slip.
