Buy the time you jack up the car, take the wheel off, and undo all the liner screws I can have the belt out. Not that there is any hurry in retirement. Installing the liner has been a real bear for me, it hangs up at the top, right where you can't see it well, and needs prying to fit together while trying to hold it up. Maybe I haven’t got the hang of it, last time I used a small bungee cord to hold it up while getting things together at the top. The best way to hang the belt, liner in or out, is start at the top and keep an eye on the bottom as you work your way down over the pulleys. With the liner in, a flashlight mirror and long screwdriver come in handy.
