Ordered 2 of them Posted by sam96CS [Email] (#852) [Profile/Gallery] (more from sam96CS) on Tue, 15 Oct 2013 05:04:32 In Reply to: Flasher switch - any years/models better made?, sam96CS [Profile/Gallery] , Sat, 12 Oct 2013 10:29:34 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Of course mine would break when I need to pass NC inspection. So I ordered two used switches from someone at a big auction site who is selling them for $14.50 each including shipping.
DanaH is probably right that the 3 metal prongs apply more pressure than the plastic ring can handle. I'm thinking about filing the ends of the prongs to reduce the pressure on the wimpy ring.
I'll post a flasher switch mod if I'm able to work out a solution.
