I had the same issue in my ex son-in-law's driveway. Right to the floor. No puddle. A good thing as SIL was an absolute clean freak and would have had a heart attack if he had seen oil in his driveway. I installed a new master cylinder (by myself) (pat pat), but I was totally unable to bleed the system and I had to have it towed to the dealer to finish the job.
I would look at the master cylinder if I were you and it's not (obviously) a hard job to replace. Bleeding is another issue entirely.
